Gerald 'Jerry' Kervin Military Police

 

Veteran Kervin served our country from 1963 and was discharged in 1972. He served 2 tours in Viet Nam, 2 + years in Germany, a few months in Japan and 2 years in Hawaii.Jerry's best memory is when his brother served in Viet Nam and they got stationed together....even though one of them could return home.After being sent to Ft.Jackson S.C. he received Basic Training at Ft. Gordon GA and then to Ft.Bliss Texas (El Paso) where he trained at Missile Launcher School. He was sent to Germany to the 3rd. Missile Battalion 7th Artillery. Kervin's top secret clearance was useful in Military Police service. In 1966 he was sent to Viet Nam 6th Battalion Air Defense Artillery as security. In January 1967 his brother Jim arrived. Veteran Kervin states he had a job to do and he did it and believes in God,Country,Duty and to help protect & defend our freedoms. Thank you for your service Jerry.
